MY BABY HACKER BOY. Finally finished!! Joran's got a real complicated character and past, so he's really, really fun to make up certain situations and arcs with! I hope you all enjoy him as much as I do!~

Appearance

Joran is a fairly tall, slender boy that prefers baggy clothes that cover most of his body. His hair is the color of dark teal, a trait he received from his mother who at this time, is unknown to him. His eyes, build and quirk all come from his father who is known to the world as the villain, 'The Hacker'.

His eyes are a beautiful coral color that shifts based on when his quirk is in use. His dark pupils fade, giving way to the bottom edge and darker towards the top. His eyes also hold three lines, varying in lengths, that swirl around his eye when his quirk is in use. His acquaintances tend to call this his 'first person shooter scope'. His eyes also show how tired he actually is as a person - with bags beneath his eyes that deepen depending on his mental strength that he has.

His hair is long and wavy, which prefers to actually wear down and covering his face. However, whenever he is around the UA crowd, he wears his hair pushed back away from his face. If he were to wear his hair pulled back into a bun, you would see the bottom of his hair is shaved into the same pattern as his eyes - the three different varying lengths of lines they are normally settled in. His hair is always down when he is in civilian, villain and vigilante clothes. 

Personality

History

Joran was born on December 22nd in the colder areas of Japan. He doesn't know much about his birth, or much about anything in his short life as his memories are constantly changing with the new information he gathers each time he uses his quirk. Joran knows he has a father, his mother unknown to him as that information has either been lost or was never stored within his memories. His father, known to most as an infamous con - The Hacker - was sent to jail when he was only about 8 years old. For what he knows, his father owned a rather large company, worth billions until he was caught in one of the many scams he was able to get away with. His father had been using his quirk - Mind Tracing - to basically hack into other people's minds and use the information found there to steal important information and use it to his advantage. Nobody could remember his quirk, as he had altered the memories of each he had taken from, but he was eventually caught and sent to jail. 

Joran was then placed into foster care, the heroes who had caught his father deeming him 'too young' and 'too innocent' to cause much harm like his father. Jumping from one house to another, Joran was never in one place for long as he seemingly didn't exist. He was a perfectly behaved child, but no family could stand his haunting looks that showed no real interest or emotion to anything the families provided for him. At age 10, Joran eventually was found by a villain, named Peaches, who took him in and basically made her his legal guardian even though she was only 14 at the time. Joran now lives with Peaches and the other children she has found over the years (or stolen away) in a secret location. 

Joran has three identities that tend to fight over his mind for control - his hero, his villain, and his vigilante. For most of the time, his vigilante self seems to be in control. He does odd-ball jobs from random customers that need anything to do - villain/hero/miscellaneous work - all to get money to help sustain him and Peaches and the other children around them. His vigilante name - Jettohakka - stands for Jet Hacker, and is also used as his villain name since most of the time the two jobs seem to intermingle. His villain side eventually led him to a villain organization that wanted him to sneak into UA as a student and place himself within the ranks, knowing his quirk was able to place him there. Within a few short weeks of work, Joran was able to hack into UA's system and place himself within one of the classes as a student before the school year began. This is when his third personality came in - his hero. Known as Mind Tracer - both a stab and a nod towards his father - Joran now is at school to become a hero - in some ways wanting to stay a hero but in others still working doing jobs as both a villain spy within the school but also as a vigilante. 

Quirk

Hacking Touch: A mutation from his father's own quirk, Mind Tracing, is a unique quirk that allows Joran to hack into any type of system that is available. This includes phones, computer systems, nervous systems and even the mind as long as his left pointer finger somehow touches the system in any way. His quirk allows him to run through the system, find the information he wants, and either store it within his own memory, or alter it in any type of way. It has many advantages, but also runs extremely high risks as a quirk. 


+ Advantage:
    + Able to take and alter any information that his quirk brings him into contact with.
    + Has a high storage limit of information, so any information he brings in he is able to sort and place within correct 'areas' of his brain
    + He can use electric wires, which are almost always on his person, to make contact with someone and have that be his connecting point
    + His quirk is highly sought after, especially since his level of agility and strength with the wires makes him both a short distance and long
       distance fighter


- Disadvantage:
    - Has a Mental Capacity Limit in which he is able to store the information. If this limit is reached, he actually has to go through his own             memories/information he has gathered and delete them to create room for more information. This is how most believe that he has lost         his ability to relate to others and his own emotions/memories of his childhood and parents. 
    - He is not able to express emotion in any way. The ability is lost to him, and even though he tries hard to be able to express himself, it is         always forced and he doesn't like it - so he tends to avoid it at all costs. 
    - Constantly has to keep himself in check as his other 'personalities' want to come through in his every day life. He has to keep reminding         himself who he is at that moment - is he a villain? is he a vigilante? is he a hero? - It all poses a large amount of stress on his body and         brain, causing him to get little sleep (hence the bags under his eyes).

    - He's not even sure if he had a mother. He knows he was born, and he definitely came from his father, but he does not know if she stayed around.

    - Alive: He knows his father is an infamous villain and con known as The Hacker. He once lived a large, luxurious life, he doesn't recall much from it. He tends to get little flash backs here and there, but doesn't know where they come from.

Yuki and Joran meet during the first day of school as both students in Class 1-B. Their friendship starts off with simple companionship from the fact neither of them talk to any of the other students. Eventually the two of them start to truly interact, having conversations and spending time with one another. Yuki eventually gets hurt, having to leave UA but in the process Joran decides to stay close to her. During his fall from heroics, Joran goes to Yuki for comfort and within his third year he finally confesses to Yuki with his intent to truly court her.

Trivia

• Joran is left-handed, which makes using his quirk a lot easier. He tries to get others to shake with his left hand, making it easier to hack into their systems which just a simple shake of the hand.
• His electric wires are always wrapped around his left hand and travel up around his body, normally hidden away. This is both a habit and a safety net for him. 
• In his hero costume, his electric wires are wrapped tightly around both pointer fingers, palms, wrists and upper arms to be ready for long range use as well as any currents that need to be sent through his body. The wires run up along the inside of his arms, wrap his torso and create a pattern to the seams of his hero costume to his main belt, which is actually all wrapped tightly/spun wires that have been glued and intermixed to create the belt. This belt conducts the small electric current that is always running through his body in his hero costume. 
• His vigilante costume is actually a large, reversible jacket with a removable hood that is not present with a mask that he wears over his face. This mask tends to resemble a 'Naruto Anbu Mask' that he has taken interest in. 
• His villain costume is the reversible jacket, flipped inside out with the hood attached that is over a small mouth mask that covers his neck, mouth and nose. He tends to wear sunglasses that block out his eyes. This costume is strictly for quick jobs so he won't be seen for long.
• He likes to wear his hair down, but he wears it pushed back for UA since he looks quite different than when his hair is in his face. 
• He had to cut his hair before school started due to a fluke accident, causing Peaches to shave the under part of his hair. He asked for the design in his eyes to be incorporated. 
• He honestly loves to nap. It's the one thing he will say he actually enjoys doing.
• He likes banana flavored things.

• He has a tendency to have his headphones in but is never really listening to music because they lyrics get stuck in his head and that isn't always the best for his mentality.
