Appearance

Hokori, or Kori as she likes to be called, is a fairly tall (and still growing) girl with an athletic body build. She has tan skin, which she gets from her mother, with golden freckles, or 'sparkles', that cover her skin, especially on her shoulders and cheeks. She has long, wavy lilac colored hair, a trait she received from her mother. Her long hair is tied at the end of the long waves down to her lower back with her bangs wrapping around the crown of her head in a braid. She has hot pink eyes from her father's side of the family, with golden speckles found throughout them that give them a playful glimmer and slightly show more when her quirk is in use. She tends to normally wear clothes that she marks as a 'hippie/rebel tomboy style', but will also dress cute when the need is too strong. She hates her school uniform, and tends to opt-out wearing the full outfit which gets her in trouble.

Personality

Kori is normally quiet until spoken to. Once you have established a connection with her, she has marked you as a friend and someone she can come to when she wants to talk... about anything. She is very outgoing and loves to talk about ways in which quirks work with one another to find the best teams. This makes her look for the good in everyone, and often gets her into trouble as she'll put herself in danger to try and talk her way out of situations. She tries to avoid violence at all costs, but often has to fight to resolve these issues. She has a brilliant mind when thinking of strategies, but is often not heard from because she caught up in her head - something she is desperately working on. She is also very hot-headed and stubborn when forced to do things that she doesn't think is right and not thought out.

History

Kori came to Japan's top hero school from America. Her mother is originally from Japan, and had attended the school within the support department, basically to become a side-kick for a large agency over in America. Her mother moved to America to follow a job opening she liked in a big city where she eventually met Hokori's father and the two fell in love while working as side-kicks for the agency.

Hokori's journey to become a hero started after her brother moved to college in the United States to study to become a hero. Her brother and her are 7 years apart, and while she was just starting to figure out where she wanted to attend high school, he had begun to make a name for himself within the hero world in America. This made her determined to break the 'side-kick' mold of her family, just like her brother, and make a better name for herself - so she chose to go to Japan to study abroad and learn more about the world. There is a slight language barrier, as she grew up mostly learning English, but her mother often talked and taught her Japanese - though it was really broken. When choosing UA, she studied the language a lot more and can now follow along easily but stumbles when fast conversation becomes too much - often seeking out help when something doesn't translate over well.

Quirk

Fairy Dust: Yōsei Hokori stands for Fairy Dust - which is actually what she came to call her quirk. Her quirk is a merge mutation from her two parents' quirks:

Her mother's quirk is called 'Fairy' as she has all the traits an actual fairy would have. Her mother's true size is only about 14 cms (about 5 and a half inches tall) but she can expand her body by use of her quirk to grow in size. Her mother also has wings that manifest from the fairy quirk, and pointed ears. Her quirk is mainly used for infiltration and spying due to her small size, as well as a small healing ability when she gathers her quirk to her palms.

Her father's quirk is called 'Dust Collector' as he collects the dust in the air around them to use to his advantage. His quirk is mainly used for sabotage and shielding as he can harden the dust within the air to make solid forms.

Her brother's quirk is mostly a mutation from their father's as he can collect the dust in the air around him to form solid shapes and objects to use. He has been able to create anything from a small pebble to a working tank. His go to item to use, that he has perfected time to create, is a sickle and chain and a pistol that won't run out of bullets unless there is no more dust in the air. He works best in destroyed areas - as that's where most dust will be located.

Kori's quirk manifested when she was 3, as her eyes gained the golden speckles and her ears grew pointed. She is able to collect the dust within the air around her to manifest into 'fairy dust'. She can use this ability in a number of ways, but has a hard time controlling more than 2 at a time.

- The first is she can collect the dust around her to create glittery, golden forms that shape and contract to mold shapes out of. Mostly used for shielding or to even conjure up four wings that form on her back. These wings can then be manipulated to allow her to fly and increase her speed. She later on has the ability to harden them and use them as sharp objects to cut and shield her from harm.
- The second is a healing factor. The dust collected can form into a slight enhancement/healing ability to relieve another person from injury or fatigue.
- The third is the most challenging one as she develops it later on. She is eventually able to create a smaller version of herself when enough dust is collected. Her smaller form is used for spying and in-tell collection.

+ Advantage:
+ Her quirk is always activated due to dust particles being everywhere
+ She can literally fly and her wings give her a great advantage for all ranges of attack
+ She can help others and heal them when there is a life-threatening injury (she can't fully heal it, but enough to sustain the person in harm)
+ Her ability as a strategist works well with her quirk as she can stay out of the way but still provide ample help from the air
+ Her smaller copy is exactly like her, and whatever it learns, she learns as well

- Disadvantage:
- Her wings are actually apart of her body - if you harm them, you severly harm her
- Her healing ability takes a great toll on her body and will weaken her while she heals others
- She can't form other things from her dust besides a smaller version of herself and random shapes when needed (unlike her brother)
- If she is sealed within a dark space, her freckles dimly glow, which can be both a disadvantage and an advantage
- She seems more like a support type, and she gets mad when she is portrayed as such

Love interest:

Yo Shindo (Yo, Shindo-kun, Shindo-chan, Senpai, Shin-dig)

Shindo and Hokori meet during the permit exams held where class 1-A entered. They are first introduced when Shindo goes around to shake hands with all the students in her class. During the exam, Hokori follows along with Izuku and the other students to rescue the 'distressed' victims, Hokori having started to use her healing ability on others. She meets Shindo again during the large exchange with the Killer Whale group, Shindo and her teaming up for a short while to fend off and protect the 'victims' around them. Shindo seems to have gained an interest in her, and asks for her number after the exam is over.

Friends and others:

- Hebi (Hebi, Hebi-chan, Snake Friend, hiss-hiss) Golden-Archive

They are in the same class together and become friends after awhile of Kori bugging Hebi. Hebi originally tries to get her to stay away, being much less friendly and quieter than Kori, but eventually forms a strong bond with her after their friendship is established. She doesn't admit it, but she watches carefully over Kori, especially when she gets herself hurt. Her quirk is extremely powerful, and Kori loves to rave over it.

- Dire (Diamond, Dire-chan, Dire, Ms. Hard-Skull) mckissat

Her first friend at UA and they are hall mates as well as classmates. Dire and her have a very strong friendship and are often always caught together. They work well, and once Hebi joins, their team is quite a powerful one. Much like Hebi, Dire watches over Kori like a hawk, and also loves to pick on her as Kori is more of an expressionist than herself. She often just listens to Kori talk, giving her advice or comments when needed.

- Tomoko (Tomoko-chan, Tomo, Phantom) Myuwa

Tomoko and Hokori meet in Class 1-A together. The two of them start off having a strained relationship until they both begin to respect each other's power in their quirks. Tomo eventually sees Hokori interacting with two second year boys (Retsu and Kibo), and tries to find out where she runs off to with them, only to find them all training together after school. Tomoko eventually joins in and her and Hokori grow closer together during this time.

- Chiemi (Chiemi-chan, Che, Shy one) Myuwa

Chiemi and Hokori meet during the Sports Festival when Hokori and her run into one another as Chiemi was buying her fellow classmates food and drinks from the stands. Hokori offers to help her carry these items, and when returning to the area the class is sitting in, realizes they were using Chiemi for her kindness. She quickly glares at the class, before grabbing Chiemi and dragging her off to where Class 1-A was sitting. This solidified their friendship.

- Yuki (Yuki-chan) Myuwa

Yuki and Hokori meet during the first day of school as Yuki joins her, Chiemi and Joran for lunch. The three girls get along extremely well together, and often Hokori likes to tease Yuki on her crush towards Joran. She loves to talk about Yuki's amazing quirk for her, as well as give her tips and compliments whenever she sees the other girl hesitating.

Joran and Hokori met during the first day of the school year, the two going in opposite directions and bumping into one another in the hallway. Hokori opts to just smiling and sparking up a conversation about all the cool things she's seen so far. She notices he's paying attention, but not commenting back and carries on, realizing the boy must just be shy. Over the course of the weeks she considers him a friend but knows he's not much of the talkative type.

- Nero (Nero-chan, Nero) seungcheol

Nero and Hokori meet through Joran, even though the boy can't seem to remember either of their names at the time. Hokori grows fond over Nero, seeing as her quirk is actual gold much like her glittery gold dust she creates around her due to her quirk. Hokori and Nero eventually grow to be friends as they continue to hang out around Joran.

- Yukari (Yukari-chan, Kari (lol Americanized)) AyunaSae

Yukari and Hokori meet while in class 1-A together. The two of them get along extremely well together, constantly boosting each other's beliefs in themselves and giving confidence boosters as both can be quite sarcastic, but turn deadly serious when it's time to show their stuff. Their hero classes together often have them analyzing certain situations and people often see 360 changes in personalities with the two.

- Emilia (Emilia-chan, Emi, Lia (probs cause American Nicknames stick with her XD )) AshySidra

Yukari introduces Hokori to Emilia and they hang out while in class 1-A together. She and Emilia hang out quite often with Yukari at their side, and often diffuse the load yelling and rants Bakugou will go into when Yukari pushes his buttons. She likes the strength and courage Emilia shows in the face of danger, and often supports her when things with her family get her down or discouraged.

She eventually makes great friends out of Izuku Midoriya and Eijirou Kirishima once she meets them
She knows a lot about top American heroes, and shares this often with Izuku and Emi
She is a fan of All Might, but doesn't know nearly as much about him and others do
She is from America, and therefore has that American attitude when dealing with certain things
Her clothing choices can be a little odd at times
She is self-conscious of her scars on her back, and will often hide them
Fan-girls hardcore over certain quirks, like Katsuki's and Shouto Todoroki's
